FILTER PLANTER

CONCEPT
The Filter Planter is born out of the understanding of the properties and behavior of water; through capillary action the water passes through the pores of the terracotta clay, watering the soil in the central planter, making it self-watering.  It’s a special marriage of technical knowledge and clean design with local pottery techniques that blend harmoniously fitting in anyone’s kitchen bringing some aromatics and spices from your own home to the table.

DESIGN PROCESS
Pablo and Juan Pablo started working with their Dutch design partner, but because of illness of the latter one, they had to continue without a Dutch counterpart. They kept involved in the project in a different way, communicating with Bas Sala and Marie-Thérèse Woltering.
